I really wanted to enjoy my stay at this hotel, but the streetside room was a literal nightmare, very noisy! Plus, they need a lesson in customer service. I expect a complimentary upgrade for such inconveniences. Just couldn't believe the bar was practically nonexistent. Would've given a good review, but alas!

Good intentions, flawed execution
The brilliant location offered stunning sunsets, and daily room cleaning was a delightful extra that made my stay feel special.
The noisy surroundings were quite disruptive at night, hindering a restful sleep. Additionally, warm water was sporadic, making showers a struggle.

Stunning Views with a Cozy Atmosphere
During my stay for two nights in a Deluxe Twin Room with Sea View, I was blown away by the breathtaking views and the amazing sunsets from the rooftop bar. The location right on the water was perfect, and the air conditioning made the heat manageable. While the shower took a bit to heat up, it was certainly better than most I encountered in Guatemala. However, I would have appreciated a more vibrant atmosphere at the bar.

During my stay at La Union, I was impressed by the staff's kindness and their excellent English communication. The room change I requested was handled promptly, and I appreciated the small spiders in my new room, as they help control other insects. The hotel offered a cozy atmosphere, and the location allowed for easy access to local sights.
The noisy environment made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
